Our Story
Some places find you before you're looking for them.
One of the reasons we moved here was fishing. Not complicated fishing, just the kind where you go out in the morning, boat or no boat, and come back with something. That matters to a lot of people who are looking for a place like this, more than most vacation rental sites would admit. If you're the kind of person who wants to know where the fish are before you book, you're going to be happy here.

The birds were a surprise. We're not birdwatchers. But people pay to have vans drive them to our backyard to see what's living in the Sierra de Huatulco reserve. Exotic species, serious birders, real money. We figured if that's what's behind the property, guests should know about it.

XOA Gastronomy
The connection to XOA was never a marketing decision. A cook trained at Le Cordon Bleu who never left Oaxaca. Corn they grow themselves. Food that doesn't need a backstory because it is the backstory. That felt like exactly what Los Colores should be.
